We love Aldi. Great prices. Small simple and convenient. Selection is mostly sufficient, and the few things they don't have, then we go to Cub.
Good prices but I HATE the self checkouts. They are not paying me to do it myself nor giving me a discount. I will wait in line forever for the principle of things. This makes for Poor customer service. Managers please pay attention. Hire enough staff to improve on this please. Aren't we the ones keeping your doors open? Hmmm.
Nice remodel! Store is larger, well labeled and clean. Great deals on staples like eggs and milk. Went at 4:15 on a weekday and store was not crowded. Extra cashiers came up when a line formed at checkout. Remember to bring your tote bags and a quarter if you need a cart.
I have frequented this Aldi for years, we spend $100+ a week here on groceries. Ever since the self checkout lanes went in, I've noticed a particular staff member being unnecessarily rude with guests. Today was my turn. I made a quick trip in to the store for tonight's dinner. I usually have my own bags on hand but i'm well aware you pay for Aldi's paper bags. The first thing at self checkout I do is scan my bags. I scanned my items placed them in my bags and went through the payment process. This one staff member sitting at the register yells, "sir did you pay for your bags?"... I replied "yes!" She then replies "it doesn't show you did on here" looking at her screen. I replied "the first two items I scanned" she took a few seconds to review them replied "ok"...
This is unacceptable to be accused of something so loudly in front of other customers, especially when you did nothing wrong.
They have good prices but.... I went in to buy 4 cases of water of course I needed a cart and when I went to get one they required a quarter to take it, it's not that a quarter is expensive and you get it back...
I haven't carried cash much less change since before Covid hit. I felt like a beggar in the parking lot just because I wanted to buy something I could not carry to the register much less my car because of the weight and size of the packaging.
I decided to take away a star, I stopped in on January 8th 2022 and there was a sign posted prominently as I entered to wear a mask. The employees seem to not have been told a mask is only effective IF they are worn correctly, I sure hope management can address this issue. As you can see this employee is wearing it over his mouth only.
Mike Turnbom I think I know who you are talking about, she just seems rude to everybody. I can understand a bad day but this is quite consistent.
It is a smaller Aldi, wish it was a little bigger, but pretty much has my usual Aldi grocery items covered.

This place is great best prices… Newly remodeled store with more product than ever! Vegetable and fruit prices can’t be beat. I really like their hot sauce! They have prepackaged meat looks like you got it at butcher shop
